prêt-fab is the founding design studio under pret-fab Pvt. Ltd., comprising specialised divisions, each with its own distinct character and focus within the design-furnishings landscape.

History

Our beginnings were in the trade — among mills, looms, workshops, and sites. Years at the source built a precise understanding of fabric behaviour, finish, and execution. On projects, we saw the disconnect between specification and workmanship. The shift from distributor to collaborator was a natural extension of craft and on-site responsibility.

Legacy


Ours is a thirty years journey in textiles — carried forward within the family, from trade floors and godowns to project sites. What began at the level of material has steadily evolved into a comprehensive furnishing practice serving large-scale architectural projects and discerning private clients.

Today, under pret-fab Pvt. Ltd., this legacy continues across projects and contracts, bespoke expressions, and residential furnishings — each division as an extension of inherited craft, long relationships, and the responsibility of sustaining what was entrusted to us.
